Who We Are
Private in home adult rehabilitation services that allow you to participate and become involved in daily activities in life.
Our goal is to help you become engages through cognitive and communication therapy.
SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPY

Services
We provide home based rehabilitation services for adults who have experienced a brain injury, stroke, or who present with a degenerative disease. We also provide therapy services for those who require voice therapy or those who are interested in accent modification.
It is our goal to help individuals feel confident in their ability to communicate with others and participate in activities of daily life.
Speech ServicesApraxia: Muscles have difficulty with correct movement to produce speech sounds
Dysarthria: Slurred or weak speech
Speech Sounds: Difficulty with specific sounds
Stuttering: Repetition of sounds and/or words
Language ServicesAphasia: Difficulty speaking, reading, and/or understanding what is being said
Brain Injury: Difficulty with finding words, recalling information, formulating sentences, understanding spoken messages, spelling, reading and writing.
Social communication- taking turns, maintaining a topic, or responding to facial expressions may also be affected
Cognitive CommunicationMemory, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Planning, Attention & Visuospatial skills
Accent modificationImproving your pronunciation in your second (or third) language
Learning new consonant sounds, vowel sounds, intonation and communication habits
Voice TherapyProviding strategies to improve pitch, volume and quality of your voice
Breathing exercises to better coordinate your speech and breathing
Relaxation exercises to reduce tension
Movement or posture exercises to improve your posture
Exercises for the mouth and jaw muscles – for instance, using chewing movements or intentional yawning and sighing
Swallow TherapyProviding strategies to improve swallowing abilities
Making diet modifications to improve swallowing
*Group Therapy for Voice, Cognitive linguistics, & Aphasia are also available.
Sessions run twice a week for 4 weeks at $40 per session.
Fee Structure
Rates are based on the recommended fee schedule provided by the Ontario Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).
Speech Language Pathologist:
Starting at $150/hour for billable services, which include:

Report Writing
Additional services available based on clients needs (e.g., translation services, programming communication devices)
Communication Disorders Assistant:
Starting at $100/hour for billable services, which include:
Treatment
Consultation
Documentation
All clients will receive an invoice upon completion of each session, which can be submitted for insurance claims under extended health benefit plans.
